Hi Tom,

I tried mailing you privately on the 28th but don't know if it got
through. The Date header on your posts to this list seems incorrect,
since others are quoting your text before you apparently wrote it.
Here's your post and Ian's reply in one thread.

    From: Tom Lord <lord@regexps.com>
    Date: Tue, 26 Feb 2002 19:42:31 -0800 (PST)

    From: Ian Lance Taylor <ian@airs.com>
    Date: 26 Feb 2002 16:45:33 -0800

And today here's yesterday's thread with Henkel-Wallace.

    From: D Henkel-Wallace <gumby@Henkel-Wallace.org>
    Date: Sun, 3 Mar 2002 17:26:42 -0800

    From: Tom Lord <lord@regexps.com>
    Date: Sun, 3 Mar 2002 21:00:51 -0800 (PST)

    From: D Henkel-Wallace <gumby@Henkel-Wallace.org>
    Date: Sun, 3 Mar 2002 19:43:50 -0800

Again, Henkel-Wallace can quote you before you'd written the post.

For those of us that read email in date order this is a PITA. Do you
think it's anything at your end or is it possible the list software is
munging everyone's time zone to -0800 and isn't recognising your
`(PST)' designator?

Thanks,

Ralph.

(Apologies to the list, but as I said, a private email elicited no
response and it might conceivably be a list problem and not Tom's.)
