Anyone want to tackle this? We'd love to find more people to pass
along open source PR leads like this to. If so, let Sara Winge
(sara@oreilly.com) know you're interested, and she can feed press leads
like this to you in future.

Hello Tim,

My name is Don Marks and I'm writing you on behalf of Data Communications
magazine. We're interested developing a story on "open source" and free
software for corporate network applications, and I thought perhaps
eitheryou or someone from your organization (perhaps one of your book authors)
might be interested in authoring such an article. We're particularly
interested in ways that net managers can use open source code to save
money--on software costs and maintenance fees--while maintaining or
advancing network software performance levels. At the same time, we
would want to address head on what support or management problems the use of
open source apps or operating systems might pose.

Please let me know if you're interested in working on such a story.

Regards,

Don Marks
