Hmm.  Maybe the GPL was designed to do something different that I
thought it was.  Some language is coming back to me from the FSF
manifesto I read years ago.

Maybe the GPL was written by people who were annoyed that they
couldn't share software they had with their friends, so their license
prevented a restriction of redistribution rights.

I want software that can't be hoarded, so I want a license that says
you are required to distribute it.
