Attached is an invitation to a breakfast titled "The Business Case for Open
Source Software: Successful Models and Implementations" we are holding on
October 1 in New York City. At the breakfast we will present a panel
discussion of the benefits open source software, such as Linux, can provide
businesses. The intended audience is CTO/CIO's and other technology or
information executives who are contemplating implementing open source or
Linux as part of their business or are simply curious to learn more about
what open source is and how it can help firms succeed in the marketplace. A
Patterson Belknap attorney will moderate and the panel will include
representatives from IBM, Red Hat, Merrill Lynch, VA Software and the New
York Linux Users Group.

If you will be in the New York area on October 1, it would be a pleasure to
have you join us for this breakfast. Also, please feel free to forward this
invitation to anyone else you think would be interested in attending.
