I am the sysadmin for a hosting/ISP company.  I don't want users using
our servers to store their email.  Since pop3 is the only service I am
interested in, IMAP is just excess baggage/code/one-more-thing for me to
keep  track of.  Thanks for the suggestion, it just is not one I will
take.
